Tag team trouble

Dear Diary,
Smudge and me have discovered that by working together we can do anything. Take food time. When the pets are serving up the food I go all cute and distract them. This allows Smudge to jump onto the side of the counter and quietly knock the food pouches onto the floor, then under the counters. Once we've eaten what we have in the bowls we can quietly sneak under the counters and enjoy an extra treat.
Tag team is great!

The New House

Dear Diary,
We've been moved into the new house that my pets kept talking about. It's very different to the last place we lived. For a start there are no carpets downstairs - the rooms have polished floorboards that I keep sliding on, and there is a slate floor in the kitchen.

However, there are some great places to sleep at the moment. Apart from on the bed, or on the settee, there is a lovely big wicker chair in the dining room right next to the patio window. It's so warm and comfy that Smudge and me just chill out there during the day.

Talking of Smudge - he's going stir crazy. We aren't allowed outside at the moment, and the pets keep saying that we have to stay in for at least 5 more weeks. Arggggh!!

Smudge is going back

Dear Diary,
Smudge has come back from the nasty medicine man, but he's got to back again soon. He's got a poorly tooth that needs to be taken out, and he's going to have an operation too. I heard my pets say that he'll be going on the day that the packers come to start moving everything to the new house.

It wasn't my turn!

Dear Diary,
This morning one of my pets appeared in the front room with the portable prison that they put me in when they take me to the nasty medicine man. I scarpered thinking I was going again. But no! He went and put Smudge in there, then left. I felt so relieved!!
I did worry about Smudge though, and when Smudge returned I gave him a big kiss on the nose because I'd missed him.
