Regular as clockwork

Dear Diary,
I have my routines. I like to keep them the same. Take food for instance. I like my pets to feed me at the same time, every day.
If they don't it puts me out, and gets me all confused, and so I make sure that just before it's time to eat I remind them. A gentle paw on a paper bag here, a little knock of the remote control onto the floor there, or the constant miaow.
Thing is, I can't see why they are getting so annoyed with me. If only they'd feed me when I wanted then there wouldn't be a problem.
Silly pets. When will they learn?
