I want it too

Dear Diary,
I'm getting those birds now. Smudge might catch them and bring them into the garden, but once they're in then they become mine!
Smudge only plays with them, but not me. I want to eat them.
If my pets would only let me finish off the job I could then enjoy my meals in the open air.
